Zone Out 42
A downloadable game for Windows
Zone Out 42 is a frantic twin stick shooter game with a retro/synthwave aesthetic, featuring multiple power ups and enemies. Although it is heavily inspired by Geometry Wars, it comes with its own twist; The walls are constantly closing in and you must defeat the waves before you are squashed in.
The game was developed over the course of a weekend by 2 programmers as our first entry for the Ludum Dare 42 Jam (back in 2018), where we got 121th place overall, but 24th on the Fun category.
All of the sound assets used in this project are taken from:

Download
Install instructions
- Download the game
- Extract the zip file
- Run the Ludum_Dare_42.exe inside the extracted folder
- Make sure you read the "How To" in the main menu
- Exit the game with the good old "Alt+F4" method
