10 Seconds Intervals
Box Pushing Training Sessions: 10 Seconds Intervals is a 2D top down action-puzzle game. The easiest way to describe it is "a weird mix of Sokoban, Tetris and Bomberman".
Every 10 seconds boxes fall from the sky. If they squash you, it's gameover. The goal is to get rid of as many boxes as possible before your unavoidable doom. Punch boxes to smash them or push them off the platform to increase your score, while also making sure you avoid any falling box as the platform constatly shrinks.
Game instructions:
- Gain 1 score point when you smash a box or push it off the stage
- Use the arrows keys to move. Walk against a box to push it
- Press Space to punch. Punching not only damages boxes, but it can also move 2 boxes at the same time, while pushing can not.
- In the final phase of the game (4x4 grid) there will always be random 1 row or 1 column free on the every box drop. Plan accordingly.
- Exit with the good, old-fashioned Alt+F4.
The game was developed as my second solo entry (and 4th overall) for the Ludum Dare 51 Jam (in October 2022). I created every part of the game on my own (coding, art, sfx).
Tool used:
- Engine: Unity
- Pixel art: Aseprite
- Sound BFXR / SFXR
