Touch Grass: Christmas Carols

This game is inspired by the Greek custom of Christmas Caroling, in which kids go around the neighborhood on Christmas Eve door to door, singing the Christmas carols to collect tips for their Christmas gifts.

• Explore the Earthbound-inspired map and interact with NPCs to complete quests for rewards 
• Knock on people's doors to rock the Christmas carols on your keytar in a Guitar Legends type of mini-game to collect tips.
• Buy upgrades for your keytar from Alphonso's Music Store
• Try to gather as much money as possible before the end of the day to buy that Gamestation 2 that your dad promised you for Christmas.

The full game is scheduled to be released right on time for Christmas 2023 and will be the first part on a planned series of games under the "Touch Grass" franchise.

The game started off as my third solo entry (and 5th overall) for the Ludum Dare 52 Jam (in January 2023), but it has been greatly expanded since then. I created every part of the game on my own (coding, art, sfx). 

The Overworld song is currently a placeholder but still, credit where credit's due
